Lucky lit up Terra Blues again last night. The crowd love him and his show but there were some real treats there that can't be overlooked. Special guest L.J. Porter from "The Vampin' Ho's" was in attendance annd singing like an angel in a cement mixer. Tough strong vocals ripped through the club and damn near took off the roof. She was also backed by a local 'soon to be known' Rich Cohen who stepped and slung that guitar like he was born to do it. All this aside, coming in from the BGO Jazz-a-thon was the lovely Shemekia Copeland finishing off the 'Special Guest' extravaganza with the Style and grace expected from blues royalty! Shemekia has come a very long way from the days of filling in her Dad's act.
