Blues and jazz musicians receive very little - if any - media coverage. Even in light of current focus on Blues and Jazz.
The New York Blues & Jazz Society exists to foster awareness of the significance of these musical genres, and grow a base of supporters. Grants, sponsorships, financial and other means of assistance are needed to fuel the educational and informational programs, and to promote working Blues and Jazz artists in the Metro New York / Tri-State area.
We need creative, energetic individuals who love the music to spearhead our fundraising efforts to ensure these national treasures make it through the 21st century and beyond. Got ideas? Let's talk! Contact MAILTO:info@nybluesandjazz.org
